Improving Applied Research

It’s challenging to find information, sort and screen through piles of papers that are locked up in PDFs behind paywalls, then once you find information, it’s a headache to connect to the relevant datasets, find the proper strains and materials that you need to practice experiments and then when you finally get a chance to implement the right protocol, you find out that the experiment in question is impossible to reproduce. The entire system of science is due for a change, and quick. We have a number of members that are interested in the meta-process of science from the funding, to the information gathering, to the testing (robotic or otherwise), to sharing their results.
